Revisit to the Rosette Nebula for Valentines

Writer's picture: 1865Astonomy1865Astonomy

The Rosette nebula is probably one of my favorite nebulas in the night sky, the definitions in the structure and colors are just truly amazing. As I'm no longer imaging from a Bortle 2 sky but now working under a Bortle 5/6 sky I've been revisiting a lot of my old targets so this early Feb I revisited the Rosette to see what it looks like under SHO Narrowband.

When I think of Astrophotographer I would describe them as being a Robotic Software Data Science Artist because it really entails all 4 of those specialties. I feel like I'm getting good at the first three but the Artist side is something when I never know when is enough and especially with SHO which colors to bring out. So this image is still a little green but I really love the definition of it.
