I'm kind of lazy and its cloudy so I was using my ASI1600MM Pro to make some RAW Bias and Darks. I had watched a couple of videos on YouTube about making Master Bias and Master Dark frames and they seemed to work but the other day I was using the new Weighted Balance PreProcessing Script in PixInsight and realized one of the outputs was a master Bias and the master Dark for that run. So I thought to myself, could I use this tool to make all my Master Darks for all the different gain levels and exposure times. The main reason is keeping 25 - 32 MB images for each gain and exposure level is a lot of storage. So I setup a trial run to run the previous Master Bias against 25 images with Unity gain of 139 and 15s exposures, no flats, not lights just run it, and it worked. So then I said can I do that for all of my different gain/exposures and it worked again. So I literally just produced all of my Master Darks for unity gain of 139 for exposure lengths of 5s, 15s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 180s, 300s, and 600s in half the time it took me to right this paragraph. Below are the steps.
One Note, I think you have to do this for each gain setting level, as it doesn't appear to segregate out the Masters by Gain, of course that could be a missed feature or that gain doesn't matter on Darks...
Step 1: Capture the Bias and Darks
I used NINA to setup a sequence to cool my ASI1600MM Pro to -10 and then capture bias and dark frames for gain 100, 139, 200 and 300 and for each of those gain levels to capture the 5s, 15s, 30s, 60s, 120s, 180s, 300s, 600s and then let it run all day and all night.

It saves it on a NAS server and because of how my filename is setup I can easily see what Gain and Exposure time is there for each image.
Step 2: Use PixInsight WeightedBatchPreProcessing script to make Masters
Open WeightedBatchPreProcessing script from the scripts menu, then add your BIAS raw files, or master in my case using the Add Bias button. If you are using a Master make sure to check the box in the Global Options area to Use Master Bias.

Add your dark calibration files using the Add Dark button. You can see how it separates the files by exposure length.

Click on the Lights tab and deselect all analysis settings and set your Output Directory.

Click on Run and then click Continue on the Diagnostic Messages popup.

Step 3 - Clean up and Organize
Change the names of your new Master Files so you can quickly access them then next time you are about to process some light images.
I hope this helps someone out there...
