Welcome to 1865 Astronomy where the Ocean is Caribbean Blue and the Sky is Dark. This is my collection of Astrophotography images taken from a Bortle Level 2 sight on a small island called Culebra just off the main island of Puerto Rico... roughly (18.3N, 65.3W Lat/Lon). Astronomy here can be accomplished by simply looking up and visibly seeing the Milky Way in all its glory.
I've created this sight as a showcase of my images as well as a learning experience for novice and experts astronomers. There are a unique set of challenges operating at 18N north latitude along with 120 ft elevation next to the Atlantic ocean, and I hope to learn and share those experiences through this website.
